Small Roman fort Becheln

Description

The small fort of Becheln was a Roman fort of the Upper Germanic Limes , which in 2005 became a UNESCO World Heritage Site . The today no longer visible Bodendenkmal is located in the woods between today's local communities Becheln and Schweighausen , which belong to the Rhineland-Palatinate Rhein-Lahn-Kreis .
