Description

The small fort Pohl (in the older literature also Kleinkastell "On the corner near Pohl" ) was a Roman border fort of the Upper Germanic Limes , which has since 2005 the status of a UNESCO World Heritage Site . The former military camp is today as a ground monument on the outskirts of Pohl ( municipality Nassau ), a local church in Rhineland-Palatinate Rhein-Lahn-Kreis
