Small Roman fort Alteburg-Heftrich

Description

The former Roman fort Alteburg is located in the Rheingau-Taunus district about one and a half kilometers south of the Idstein district Heftrich under a field. The numerus fort belongs to the western Taunus range of the Upper German-Raetian Limes , which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2005 .
