Small Roman fort Hintere Orthalde (12-33)

Description

The small fort Hintere Orthalde was a Roman military camp , which today lies on the northeastern districts of the city of Schwäbisch Gmünd in Baden-Württemberg in an industrial area. It was built in conjunction with the Rhaetian Limes , a few meters away , which was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005 .
