Harding University is a four-year, private, coeducational, and residential liberal arts university with its main campus in Searcy, Arkansas, and other campuses around the world. It is the largest private university in the state of Arkansas. Harding is one of several institutions of higher learning associated with the Churches of Christ. Established in 1924 and named after Christian minister James A. Harding, the university currently holds undergraduate, graduate, and pre-professional programs, as well as a School of Theology located in Memphis, Tennessee.
