Scott as Mordecai Jones and Michael Sarrazin as Curley pass the courthouse as the chase continues.  On the return during the chase they run through the driveway in front of the courthouse.  In fact, a great deal of the last scenes takes place here at the Lawrenceburg County Courthouse.  Harry Morgan as Sheriff Zebulon "Zeb" Slade office is in the courthouse along with the jail where the put Scott.  The bomb threat at the end of the movie is done in front of the courthouse also.
