Girma Wolde-Giorgis (Ge'ez: ግርማ ወልደ ጊዮርጊስ; 28 December 1924 – 15 December 2018)[2] was an Ethiopian politician who was the 3rd President of Ethiopia from 2001 to 2013.[3] He was the second person to hold the office of President since the founding of the Federal Republic of Ethiopia in 1995.
