Sir Michael CaineCBE (born Maurice Joseph Micklewhite Jr., 14 March 1933) is an English actor. Known for his distinctive Cockney accent, he has appeared in more than 130 films during a career spanning over 60 years, and is considered a British film icon.[2] As of February 2017, the films in which he has appeared have grossed over $7.8 billion worldwide.[3] He is ranked at No. 20 on the list of highest-grossing box office stars.[4]
