"Although the Bonneville megaflood undoubtedly did some carving to this and Blind Canyon to the south, it appears the majority of canyon/coulee headward erosion was actualy from a pre-Bonneville flood. Dating comes from the headwall of Box Canyon, which yielded ~45kya!" (see reference)
