The old address was 65 East Vernon St.  A reference suggests that the old 65 East Vernon St was located between John R. Fisher and Woodward streets.  Unfortunately, Vernon does not exist between these two streets.  If East Vernon is extended west toward these two streets Adelaide or Winder seem to be the most likely cases for where East Vernon was.  The current site is between the two streets mentioned above along Winder but the site needs to be verified.

The Study Club fire killed 22 people and injured over 50 in a Detroit, Michigan dance hall on September 20, 1929.^[2]
