On April 3, 2018, just before 1:00 p.m. PDT, a shooting occurred at YouTube headquarters in San Bruno, California, United States.[6] The suspect, Nasim Najafi Aghdam, armed with a handgun, approached an outdoor patio and opened fire.[7][8] Three people sustained gunshot wounds (including one who sustained critical injuries); an additional person was injured while fleeing the building.[6] Police reported that the shooter, a woman, died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.[6]
