Willkawayin (Quechua willka grandchild / great-grandson / lineage / minor god in the Inca culture, an image of the Willkanuta valley worshipped as God / holy, sacred, divine, willka or wilka Anadenanthera colubrina (a tree),[2][3] Ancash Quechua wayi house,[4] -n a suffix, hispanicized and mixed spellings Huilcahuain, Huilcahuaín, Huillcahuain, Wilkawain, Willcahuaín, Willcawain, Willkawain) is an archaeological site in Peru. It is located in the Ancash Region, Huaraz Province, Independencia District, in the village of Paria. It is situated at a height of about 3,400 m (11,200 ft).[5]
