The University College of Estate Management (formerly the College of Estate Management, abbreviated to CEM) is an independent Higher Education institution which provides courses by distance learning for people in the real estate development and construction industries throughout the world. UCEM is also one of eight original members of the Independent Universities Group,^[2] made up of universities not funded by the HEFCE. UCEM has had the privilege to educate over 150,000 students (to 2013), contributing knowledge to the property and construction industries across the globe.^[3]
