On May 6, 2023, a mass shooting occurred at Allen Premium Outlets, an outlet center in Allen, Texas, United States. Nine people were killed, including the perpetrator, who was shot by a police officer already in the area on an unrelated call.[3] Seven were injured.[4][5]
