The Naval Air Station Pensacola shooting was a mass shooting that occurred on December 6, 2019 at Naval Air Station Pensacola in Pensacola, Florida. Three people were killed by the shooter and eight others were injured.[3][4] The shooter was killed by Escambia County sheriff deputies shortly after they arrived at the scene.[5] He was identified as an aviation student from Saudi Arabia and authorities said they were investigating terrorism as a possible motive.[6]
